Lost in wonderland

Mon, 02/17/2020 - 06:10 -- _ten1X

As i sat right next by the window,
Holding my cup of tea, and an unopened book on the side of the flower vase placed in the middle of the what I'm about to see,
The world unseen will show itself to me

My thoughts, even tho rusty
will begin its sorcery...

One by one, Pictures emerge from empty scenery
I was there—
Arms wide across the dream living in me

Embracing the wind that touches
the abyss of my vanity
Solitary seemed like not part of my vocabulary
Everything was so real! And I'm so happy!

Alas! I saw myself on the perspective that everyone says i should be—
Smiling from ear to ear
Brightest eyes as it shall always be
No touch of dreadfulness and self-pity
Where i can run, and do things peacefully
I am so free,
But none of these are part of my reality

I am lost.
I am lost with my wonderful history.
