Lost For Words

Eyes speak what my lips cannot.

Words travel endlessly in my mind like the wind in Chicago blowing through the city.

Noise interrupting all my thoughts,

Everything suddenly stops like moment right before you see two cars about to collide..

Slowing down as the damage becomes overbearing .. As each horn sounds, each piece of glass shatters to the ground like everything just doesn't feel right anymore.

Screams get louder and unite into one making it harder for me to comprehend what's being said.

Repeating the same thought over and over again in my head like that song that you just can't help but hum along.

Everything becomes paralyzed as I try to speak .. Mouth begins to zip shut, eyes sewed shut.

Lost for words.

Eyes speak what my lips cannot.
