Lost in the World

Where has the world I once knew,

The laughter, the great feelings, I once knew,

The cheer, joy, comfortability I once knew,

The enjoyment of activities and people I once knew,

Being in my comfort zone isn't as comfortable as I once knew,

The world around is changing into total darkness,

Ego at it's peak, fixations everywhere,

Nervous tension, conspiracy, lack of confidance,

Environment changing, from what I once knew,

The shadows have surrounded me without a notice,

Until one day I realized, a false fantasy,

What I once knew and changed through meant nothing,

I walk through the shadow, learn the true meaning of life,

Seeing people caught up in one's own mind,

Projections on others from one's own self,

This is different from the world I once knew,

This is the path to peace,

Lost in the World at what I see I know one day I will be free,

Free from my clutches that have led my illusion,

I think I will reach my final conclusion

A boy who thought he was happy growing up, but then realized he had been creating his darkness the whole time, Eventually realizing this he turned his journey to the light.
