Lost in your eyes
Lost in your eyes-
Everyone has someone or something hidden behind their eyes,
I guess what they say is true, “Your eyes are the windows to the soul.” that saying has a brawny motive. (Brawny doesn’t always have to refer to a “man” or a “person” it could define other things as well.) I am going to get really romantic but your eyes.. I can not explain your eyes. There are not enough words that can simply describe your very winsome eyes. Well, that may sound a little uncanny but the very thought of your eyes, the same eyes that has seen the world and the same eyes that share emotions is very absurd. (Not absurd in a bad or abysmal way but in a fine way.) I am just trying to say or hint that eyes can share so much of what you are truly feeling and that doesn’t have to be unpleasant.) You always seem to draw me in the whimsical and mysterious world that no one else can see but you. Your vivid thoughts and wild imagination seem to prey upon the realities that surround you. The instruments you use to play a symphony either imperfect or perfect seems to draw me in. Like an insect to a light of some sort. The symphony that hides behind the wall of your eyes can expose what emotion you are truly feeling. What does that even mean you may ask. You may not even understand what I am trying to vocalize because as I said there are no words in all the dictionaries out there that can clearly explain you or your very handsome eyes. Wow, that kind of escalated quickly. I am kind of lost in my own words, which, coherently speaking, can be very hard to come by. My point still remains as always. You take me to other places that necessarily don’t exist on the same Earth you and I live on. Take me on a lucid voyage, where we can travel across the seas, see all the things that might not be there in the future, let’s travel to space since there is nothing left on Earth. Let’s venture off in the middle of the night and go somewhere that was never intended in the first place. Your eyes, your very prepossessing eyes entices me into the darkness that no one else can see but you. Take me to the places that I yearn to wander. Let’s travel from galaxy to galaxy. From Constellation to Constellation. Now I want to share a quote or two in order to end this piece. A piece by someone or in this case a man whose (short) stories and quotes always seem to “motivate” and “inspire” me. This is quote by F. Scott Fitzgerald and this quote so happens to be about eyes and love. More than what I bargained for. “Their eyes met, and in an instant, with an inexplicable, only half conscious rush of emotion, they were in perfect communion.” Here is another one, a man as well, and that man goes or used to go by the name of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. “And thy deep eyes, amid the gloom, Shine like jewels in a shroud.” These two simple pieces seems to verify my great passions and the bottomless devotion I feel for you. How do you expect me to explain my feelings in a lifetime? How can one not show enough gratitude until their time on Earth has been finished. Even in the next life, I will always find you just by your eyes who holds beauty and eloquent thoughts hostage.
