Lotus

Even throughout all my darkest thoughts you seem to perk yourself right through, like a lotus bud in a groggy pond.

Those dark thoughts and memories are dangerous, but you find a way to redirect my mind to that little bud that will someday bloom into a beautiful lotus flower, that little bud that gives me some hope that one day that dark pound will clear.

My love, my life, my little lotus you will never understand how much I appreciate you and your existence because you have saved my life on more than one account. I will promise to keep you alive and care for you as long as you promise to keep growing and bring me hope through the dark times.

My little lotus.
