LOUD

Shout Scream Screech My music is blaring it’s not enough My door is shut it’s not enough It makes no sense how so much noise can mean so little. Headphones in my ears calculus, physics, English it’s never enough They tell me I’m loud That I can Shout Scream Screech They don’t know What it means to be LOUD I have to shout I have to scream I have to screech I’ll wither away I’ll lose myself I’ll cease to exist If I can’t be loud They’re too LOUD Hateful words accusing blaming alienating They say it’s love but how can love be so LOUD? I say it’s hate despicable condescending HATE There’s no room for me in the LOUD in the HATE I will drown I will drown, if I can’t be loud be angry be cold To save myself I have to Shout Scream Screech
