Loud Voice in a Quiet Mouth

My voice is quiet

But my thoughts are clear

While my ideas have value

Some feel that they're queer

So my mouth stays closed

My ideas are locked

Never Spoken

Never Judged

The life of a quiet kid.

Like a box

Holding my screams

I lack the need for attention

Others lack the need to listen.

To talk to oneself is unordinary.

To write to oneself is ordinary.

Literature is the key to my facial gate.

Writing is my sole form of expression,

Literature solves the depression,

So i write and i write,

I don't mind my obssesion

Follow the steps

And write up the accession

But if i had to give up

A single confession:

I write just to write

Not for attention

But my thoughts are for others

The thoughts I don't mention

Those thoughts that aren't mentioned

are often

The most thoughtful

So,

My thoughts must be superb

Because they are never heard,

Besides in this piece

in which they're observed,

Thoughts shown in writing

Are often preserved..

I love the line that says "thoughts that aren't mentioned are often the most thoughtful." :) Great poem!

Your idea about how talking to oneself is unordinary while writing to oneself is ordinary is amazing- I've never thought about how paradoxical it is that society would ostracize one side, while accepting and even supporting the other.
