The Loudest Fiber

Location

My eyes say it all

They tether and beckon,

Billow, shake, disrupt and push

My eyes are more eloqent than their empty novella

They recite Shakespeare and recount glories

My 3 pounds of blanketed fibers speak louder

Than their 180 pounds of pseudo- care,

Frauded factitious, you charlatan of desire

Mine moan, growl, shoot and scream

Even the moon and stars hear my pupils

I can haunt them with a moments glance

My lashes bounce, tempting them to the trap-

My lipped mouth

My eyes remind them of the warmth they never allowed

The love they refused,

The bitterness they planted

My eyes say-

But they cannot hear me because they cannot see
