Love
All I need
Is the deep-seated
Heartfelt love
The love that is
Rich and pure
Abundant and warm
The love that
Pours from the heavens
And sprouts from the ground
It is embedded
In my DNA
It functions my systems
To live and work
On an accord
Of storge and agape
To love my God
To love my kin
To love my fellow man
To love the things
That are cradled
In my heart
Without this love
My systems stop
My DNA mutates
Into a nothingness
Which holds an absence
Of something needed
Of something lost
