love

ive become so dependent on your smile

the way your voice lights up

when you see me

the way your eyes travel over mine

the way they sink into one another

like two oceans, merging into one

i've become dependent on the way you love me

the good morning texts that wake up my heart

the reminders that i am worth the world

never once have you left my side

loyalty is worth a thousand words, my dear

and you have just written a novel

the way you put others before you

the unselfish nature of your soul

the beautiful caring heart you have

the infectious smile

the humor

all of these are reasons

to keep going

i love you.
