others scoff

for writing of 

love, 

because love is 

"simple."

love

is not simple.

love is breath.

love is loss.

love is regret.

shame in writing

about a feeling 

that can 

be described 

by so many

words that 

it is a 

descriptor itself. 

there is no shame in 

hurting with

such 

magnitude

that only 

words

can heal.

there is no shame in

painting a 

picture of 

him 

or 

her

with the words

you see them

as

every day.
