Love Is
"Because I love you"
is not permission to hurt me on purpose.
"Because I love you"
means not needing your permission to do what I want.
A healthy relationship is
loving,
trusting,
commiting,
understanding,
being honest with, and
being there for each other.
I shouldn't need to be careful
about what I wear when I go out
in fear of what you might say
or
what I say, whether you're around or not,
in case you get jealous or take it the wrong way.
"Because I love you"
we take care of each other,
love each other,
want each other to achieve happiness, and
help each other realize what we really want.
That's what love is.
