Love is

Love is like hot cocoa on a cold snowy day

like a good book when the rain is pounding away

love is like a peppermint

startlingly strong but warmingly calm

love is not pain

love is not grief

love is not tears that roll slowly down your cheek

love is admiration

love is toothy smiles and long drives that span for miles

love is dancing in the rain

and healing someone else's pain

love is kind

but love is not pain.
