Love.

Lost in the world

I can't find the meaning

What is my purpose?

I search for it but can't see it

I feel so detached

Like the universe is working against me

My body lives through the day

But my soul is trapped and unseen

I stare at the sky

Tears rushing down my face

I scream to the heavens

"Why me? Why put me in this place?"

Just as my last bit of hope

Leaves the life of my body

I get a call on the phone

It says from my mommy

She says that she wishes

She can take all the pain away

That all the hurt in my world

Would instead go her way

Those words, Those words

They're powerful, I feel it

This sensation, this emotion

What's this feeling, I'm feeling?

That feeling is the most magical thing

The world has to offer

It's power is the reason

I write to this day

Love.
