Love is not name-calling and mocking of the significant other.

Love is not threatening the significant other.

Love is not bullying or constant criticism of the significant other.

Love is not intimidation towards the significant other.

Love is not shaming the significant other.

Love is not manipulating the significant other to do as wanted.

Love is not ever aggressively physical.

Love is not unhealthy.  

Love is the ability to self-develop.

Love is the room to grow for one’s self, as well as to have the desire for the significant other to grow.

Love is the ability to have freedom, other friendships, to be your own person.

Love is encouraging.

Love is trust.

Love is compromise.

Love is embracing each significant other’s individuality.

Love is through thick and thin.

Love is the ability to provide self-care for one’s self.

Love is being able to be away from the significant other and still be happy.

Love is a cycle of content and tranquility. 

Learn the difference before you go and hurt someone. It sucks. A lot.
