that is love.

Because I love you:

I am me.

No more walls

No more faces

Because I love you,

I took off my mask

I showed you who I was,

And you loved me.

And you loved me

Despite the ugly

Despite the mess

No.

Because of the ugly

Because of the mess.

Because you love me:

Words that float beneath the surface

Spill out of me

Around me

Over us.

Words that I never spoke to myself

You brought out of me.

Because I love you:

There is no fear

There is no

There is

There.

That is love.
