Love is...

Love is a rollercoaster

There are deep ditches of sorrow

And excited rushes of adrenaline

But with every high and every low

There is somethin'

This something is patient

Even in rush hour traffic

This something is kind

Even when declined

This something tells the truth

Even when things become uncouth

This something is true love

Something that puts the other before themself

Even before it comes to push and shove.
