Before Love

Before love one is blind to all it takes

To build something real, so we must wake

And face the changes build upon love

We do all we can to make the other happy while also doing the same for ourselves

Creating this surface of limitations and restrictions

This is not the purpose of love or the purpose of our lives

Before love one is blind to all it takes

To have a healthy relationship; human to human

And sometimes even after love, one is blind to all it takes
