Love

Love

Four letters filled with hope

a hope so well deserved

Yet often not so well preserved

To love is not to gain, to attain

No, love is but to give, to commit

To sacrifice, to lose, to miss

Then in return it will give flourish

When love is found, what happens next,

it supersedes confusion’s vex

After all is given to and through

Love makes life worthwhile and true
