Love

Like the sudden stillness of the winds

After their incessant blowing,

My heart skips a beat

When you look at me.

You leave me breathless.

But I don't gasp for air,

I don't need it to live.

I need you.

I hold onto you so tight,

Feeling that any space

between us

is just too much.

As we kiss the world stands still.

Despite the chaos,

I only see you in front of me.

All the stress melts away.

As we kiss,

It's as if we are out of time.

Out of the raginf storm of this life

And into the eternal bliss of the next.
