LOVE

Love isn’t something that is bought or sold,

it is something that is felt between two souls

Love is a connection you can feel but can’t explain,

but you know it when it’s there

Those who use something as sacred as love in vain,

don’t understand the true meaning of love

“If you loved me, then you wouldn’t..”

“I’m only doing this because I love you..”

“Well, if you really loved me…”

We use love as a threat or excuse,

convincing ourselves that this is what love means

But it’s not

It’s the complete opposite

Love is complex

Love is natural

Love is playful

Sometimes,

Love is pain

Love is sacrifice

Love is difficult

But,

Love is never violent

Love is never forced

Love is never angry
