Love?

Love,

Is it really what they say it is?

Wonderful

Breathtaking

But I hide from it

More like run from it

Because I fear it

Hate it

For I have seen it tear apart

Crumble from the finger tips

Lust that thinks its love

Wanting more than one

Can one ever be enough?

Beauty

Is that all they ever seek for?

Perfection, that one desire?

If that’s the case

I have no hope

For my beauty is from within

And perfection, I'm far from it

I'd father wait

Fight against it

Until I find it.

Truly find it.

I'm no fool

I won’t fall for temporary prettiness.

For I've seen the war and storm

It brings

Love...

Is it really what they say it is?
