Love

Her smile brings happiness to hell,
Her laugh makes my feelings easy to tell,
When she sneezes I smile,
Because something she thinks is so gross is the cutest thing within hundreds of miles.

She was the first to care about me when I was down,
When others ignored me she wouldn't let me frown,
We would talk for hours about anything at all,
So why did I have to go and give her that call.

I get lost in her eyes without her knowing,
I remember everyone of her features as if she were glowing,
She laughs at my jokes,
Even when their not funny and I choke,
And most of all she's my best friend.

But all that is gone because of one stupid night,
And for now I wear my heart upon my sleeve,
Hiding the cuts underneath,
That were meant to fill that gap,
But only dug me deeper into the trap.
