Love is?
Love me naked.
I'm not talking about loving my physical body without clothes, but instead loving me stripped of every front and facade I may try to put up.
Love me so that, in your eyes, my flaws are my biggest assets, the things that set me apart from everyone else in the world full of minions who dress the same, act the same, walk and talk the same just to fit in.
What is love?
To me?
To my 18 year old mind that's connect to a heart that's been broken many times but still loves as if its never been hurt?
To me, love is everlasting…
Love is a dying art.
Love is the cure to all pain that’s somehow seeming to go out of fashion.
Love is something that’s complicated, yet unmistakably simple.
Love is something that calms the largest of storms, and yet, it is the eye of the storm, destroying every malicious intention.
Love is what makes my poetry meaningful, void of rhyming and wordplay but instead full of emotion and vulnerability.
Love is the paint that brings to life the story of many.
Love is… love isn’t… love was.. and love will forever be…
a language unique to many and yet similar to most
something beautiful and horrific, but most importantly, eternal.
