Love.
Love.
Love is talked about in so many poems.
It starts to sound overrated.
But here I am,
talking about Love.
Love is to encourage the weak,
with smiles and heartfelt words.
It's when you listen with your ears,
to wipe away the tears of someone else.
Love is accepting people's’ flaws and insecurities
cos you are not perfect.
You make them feel worth it
instead of worthless.
Love is being able to laugh, cry, and question.
It's when you forget about your worries for a moment
and realize that you don’t want to take away your life just yet.
Love is what I should give myself more.
More on the days I can’t find the energy to get out of bed,
When I am up at 1 AM crying,
but trying to stay quiet,
or
When I have the urge to put a knife to my veins
and just end it all.
Love has been so underrated in my life,
and I feel deprived.
