Love
I look at you,
I see you looking back at me,
I examine you closely,
I try to say "You're beautiful",
But silence fills the air,
How can I love someone,
Who sometimes doesn't care,
Who turns their nose up at me,
While I continue to stare,
I try to say it to you again,
But you turn my words to hurt,
You hate me,
And I don't know why,
I realize I am looking at me.
