Love

There’s no such thing as “it can’t get any worse”

Those words are a curse

Love kinda sucks

And it’s not about luck

You open a door

And like an addict, you only crave more

A gentle heart can take so much

Before it starts to affect the bunch

The hands which hold are all mislead

The feet that lead go left instead

Piece by piece it breaks you down

Its presumptuous roots set deep in your ground

Only to build you up stronger

If only it lasted longer

Don’t place all your happiness in one person

That’s where love will leave you hurtin’
