This is love
If I told you love was selfish would you believe me . Love isn’t love if you’re not getting any thing from me . If my bones shaped like sharp pointed arrows would you still want to touch me . If my flesh were as steam air when water boils would you still have seen me so clearly . If my legs were glued down in to soils, would it be as fun to chase me . If my arms were just as helpless as stone would you ask any thing of me. If my body was made of spirit and not of this world would you had stayed with me. As bad as I would want this to be it would have been just a fantasy.

Your Poem's Voice
Personal romantic vulnerability explored through conditional hypotheticals about identity transformation.
Multiple interconnected ideas layered through repeated conditional structures; dense conceptual exploration.
Predominantly melancholic and self-doubting; explores inadequacy and unreciprocated longing.
Driven by insistent questioning and repetition; building tension without explosive release.
Eight lines; fits lower-mid range of measured poems.
Rich metaphors: bones as arrows, flesh as steam, legs glued to soil, spirit body.
Pure lyric internal voice; direct address to unnamed listener exploring speaker's self-worth.
