Love
Here I am
Standing in the shadows awaiting your tender kiss
Longing for you to take my breath away
Hold me close to your skin so I can feel the warmth of your body
Caress me softly
Move your hand slowly up and down my arm as if brushing away all the tension
Caringly look into my eyes and wipe away the bits of hair that fell over them.
Hear you say that I am beautiful and that you could stare at me all day.
I am waiting, up against this wall
It is burning my back
The pain seeps into my heart and I feel my knees buckle
I start to fall to the ground
Holding my knees into my chest and fiercely crying
Crying out your name and weeping
Telling myself it will all be okay
I remember the night
The night your mother came to me and said you were gone.
Now he is floating with his angelic smile
While I am here holding onto this chest that is profusely bleeding
I am now here alone, but soon I willl be with you my dear.
