Love

How can something so beautiful Cause so much pain? Heartache, stomach pain, How the feeling evokes a physical response. Yet, is love really a feeling? How can man even begin to Understand its magnitude? How can we comprehend love without Ever experiencing it? Is love a choice, does true Love even exist? Maybe it once did- During the days of Romeo and Juliet, But my skepticism has built A brick wall, a Separation from romance. How can I love someone If I can’t even love myself?
