Love

Hate exists
Whether we want to believe it or not.
Those who preach purity, fire the first shot.

Gay, straight, confused, transgender
Does it really matter what kind?
No, it's what you leave behind.

Love occurs
In many forms
Even if it's not the norm.

Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Atheist
All are different but still brothers.
Everyone bleeds the same color.

War happens
Around the world.
Emotions and opinions swirl.

Forget the hate
And live the love.
And we can all meet in the sky above.

I wrote this for the what would you change scholarship. Equality means a lot to me especially gender equality, religious equality and equality for those of all sexual orientation.
