Love

I'm in love.

No not with another,

How silly would that be?

I'mm in love with something deeper,

Something brighter,

Something more!

I'm in love with the world.

All its rythm and care.

All the people who live there.

No I'm not daft,

I know what love means.

For I'm in love with the world. You see?

I'm in love with goodness,

With the light,

With the hope.

But I also love the wicked,

The dark,

The mystery.

I'm in love with the old,

For they need love too.

I also love the young,

unexperinced and new.

I'm in love with the world,

As happy and content as could be.
