Love

Love starts as a seed Planted in the hearts of many, Growing slowly and unnoticed. Ignored by the stresses of life, It roots deep into the heart. Over time it pierces the soul, Growing deeper into the body of innocence. The seed becomes a beautiful flower, Making the heart seem invulnerable. The flower exuberant, Giving off a spontaneous emotion, Anything is possible. However, time does not halt, It is a steady clock, which keeps us going. The petals beginning to fall, The end is coming. When the flower dies winter begins, Freezing the heart, Causing endless pain and misery, As Frost would say—life goes on.
