To Love

Flawless,

the word creates a big-band noise

we equate with status, appearence, happiness.

It's a oil spread word. to be used sparingly.

I once said I deserve only what is dealt to me

But, imperfection does not mean to be perfect

it is to realize that to be perfect in what you do,

put heart into what you do.

There is no flaw in my appreciation for

the mist over the forest, the bass line,

words spoken that do not judge,

no one deserves to feel that a word can judge.

I believed once, that I knew what flawless meant.

but I was untrue, for I thought that it was a word that could shape

but it does not.

It tells of those who know they are not what others say,

they are their own passions,

commitment,

rocks. Pebbles. Everything small and big at the same time.

The word means nothing in the context of what you hear

make it to be your own and build your own world,

a new world.

Once I began to love myself, I created a new standard.

And I realize that I deserve the heavy word

'flawless.'
