On Love

Love; A four letter word that has as much power as any tool in our history

It can build up and cut down almost as instantly,

But what i would do without it is the Mystery

For coincidentally I need this power to utter

"It is I that Love's you" or "It is I that no longer Love's you"

What am i to do?

If this word was no longer mine to weild as not only a shield but a blade

I would rather not have been made.

Without this word, nay without the action itself,

My heart would just sit on a shelf.

While rotting away in some forbidden place,

All my heart could say is:

Love in your heart wasn't put their to stay,

Love isin't Love til' you give it away.
