and the first time it ends

How your heartbeat races to the sight of this person? 

Now you no longer feel that

What you feel is sadness 

Now that the love isn’t the same 

You can’t be hurt anymore 

Now your core is metal 

Nothing can hurt metal....

You thought that this love would be untouched 

And now it has been touched 

By a broken heart 

That was once fulfilled by this thing called 

Love 

How could someone tell you that 

this thing called love is a panacea 

It could fix everything 

When it is really a tornado and could destroy
