Love Addiction
My heart, my love; you stole them.
And with all your might you hold them.
And even though you may not know
my feelings have grown, but I don’t show them.
In all actuality I am extremely weak for you.
Emotions are at wits end, a dangerous peak for you.
When you are away my body aches for you.
Tiresome to resist, I refuse to ignore you.
Your voice is a soothing lullaby,
calms my soul until you’re nigh.
Something of a siren, you draw me in.
No need for escape, I’ve given in.
When you are near you become a necessity.
A kind of medicine, therapy, a remedy.
Withdrawals when you’re gone.
Addicted but this is not wrong.
I’m highly in love with you, on cloud nine.
Fate brought us back here, this is our sign.
I've relapse, overdose now for sure, this I know
Although neither of us understand why I first let you go.
You’re mine, I'm stuck, always and forever
I love you, I love us now more than ever.
