love: after-storm reflections

I’ve always been bothered to see

How reality has been passing me

I feel like time be passing through my fingertips

One day is out, next day I’m getting older

I hate to see the things that I’ve grown to acknowledge

I be giving them my signs but no one will ever bother

I be showing them my smile

Never show my tearful face

They be texting me their face back

Something I can’t understand

Well, I’m the emotional type

One that takes her time to move out

of feelings that once took me a lifetime to build

But sadly didn’t stand the pressure from the ambition

I’m hard to get with, I feel no one would ever understand me

Just how needy and lonely I get,

see sometimes I can barely withstand me

I’m expecting your kind understanding

Cuz you remind me of creature unearthly

Our connection is more than just earthly

we’ve just grown to throw ourselves some tantrums

I’m loving the way you get me

I’m loving the way you save me

I’m hating each time I be crazy

Can’t respect those feelings unearthly

But I mean them

And you mean them

Guess it matters

Though it hurts bad

I swear I be thinking of only the good times

I will try to acknowledge the good vibes

And I wish I could finally smile

See the world from the pink shades of mine

And I wish I could finally listen

To your voice a bit damaged from messenger

The connection was lost again, dammit

Scream on top of my lungs, hopeless crying

Tryna outscream each other, be thinking

That will fix the broken network

And it will never change, I hate it

Even when I’m begging you to get me

Even when I be quiet for days and

They be texting me if I’m okay

I hate to see you go

I hate to see you scream at me

I hate to hear you cry

Cuz I know that you’re the heart I need right now

And now I’m alone

Lying on my bed

Pillow face to face

Convo out of place

Last time I screamed at you

You screamed at me

Hollered like we never see again

But here we are again

Could we ever be good to each other ?

Could we ever try to stop this fire?

I’m sure we’ll ever be good to each other ?

I’m sure we’ll have to try to stop this lovin.
