Love Almost Lost

Sitting in the chair in the corner of the room She waits and waits Sitting in the chair in the corner of the room She watches as time go by on the clock (tic toc) Sitting in the chair in the corner of the room She checks her phone every hour Sitting in the chair in the corner of the room Tears fall down her cheek as she watches the sun set Sitting in the chair in the corner of the room She calls one last time Sitting in the chair in the corner of the room She is no longer sitting there Sitting in the chair in the corner of the room Her phone that is ringing Sitting in the chair in the corner of the room A message left to come to the hospital Sitting in the hospital bed waiting for her Her husband who was in a car crash rushing home to pick her up
