Roses are red,

Volets are blue,

The feeling I share,

are harsh but true.

My heart was shattered,

For a little while,

Anger filled the hole inside,

But stole the gleam from my smile.

Hours to days, days to months,

Months to years,

I let you go,

 Despite all the tears.

You were the part of my life long forgotten,

Someone I thought I didn't need,
