Love Always, Me

 I remember that night

we laid outside

and our hands fit together

like the sand and the tide

and you told me you loved me

and I looked in your eyes

and I saw forever

and I felt alive.

but then two months later

you said goodbye

you left me hopeless

empty and dry

I told you I loved you

and I asked you to stay

but you didn't look back

just walked away

so please,

know that this hurts me.

know that I care.

I never meant to mess this up.

I never would have dared.

Please don’t forget me.

No matter where you are.

I still hold you dear, right next to my heart.

Now i'm trying to find you

before it's too late

i'm trying to find you

can't make more mistakes

i'm trying to find you

I can't let this go again.

I can't let you go again

So won't you

know that this hurts me.

know that I care.

I never meant to mess this up.

I never would have dared.

Please don’t forget me.

No matter where you are.

I still hold you dear, right next to my heart.

Love always,  me
