Love and Hate
I hate the number 64, I hate the color pink.
I hate the month of May, and I hate to try to wink.
I love the feel of hugs, and I love to hold hands.
I love to have a connection, but that's bout where it stands.
I hate to keep trying, knowing it's all a waste.
I hate the word stupid, and I hate to feel misplaced.
I hate to explain myself, scared to be abandoned.
I hate being so nice, just to be taken for granted.
I always love to smile, even when I am hurt.
I hide my true feelings, because I'm always compared to dirt.
I hate rushing relationships, but that's all I know.
I sometimes love the sun, but I always love the snow.
I'm not really known, just well known for crying.
Sadness hidden with a smile, just a sign of lying.
I love being held, it helps me feel relieved.
I always hear the word love, but never really believed.
I wish my life was better, or people would let me be.
But they never did, and the past corrupted me.
I wish I was really red, but instead I'm always blue.
I wish I could just be normal, a wish that can't come true.
