Love and Hate

Look around. What do you see?

I see love and hatred all around me.

The horrible hate kills.

With sadness and pain, a person fills.

They hold a knife to their throat.

Or wear a dreadful necklace of rope.

On the other hand, the love lives.

Something a happy person gives.

Makes them feel whole.

And in life, plays the biggest role.

So, change your hateful ways,

I know it is not done with ease,

But make them loving ways,

and things will happen as you please.
