Love and Let Go

I was once there,

I felt I had it all,

I never even thought to care,

never thinking I could fall

I realize there's more to life than

looks and promises,

but it took me long

to reach my state of now

Living and loving,

but still somewhat empty,

the day has finally come,

where ive come to terms of acceptance,

yes, im hurt,

as it happened in a spurt,

but how can you be happy,

if you've never been sad?
