Love and Loneliness

and in that moment

my chest felt heavy

my heart, empty

frustration filled my mind

what is love?

what is loneliness?

why do we experience these things?

captivation is a mutual feeling between all

behind closed doors

i seal these thoughts with the always dependant exchange of pen and paper

and no matter the desire to oppose my loneliness

i must not submit

because if i do

i will then deny my ache for love

a craving that has yet to be satisfied
