"Love" and Love
Because I love him
A friend says
I put up with his bad habits
I let him tell me I’m wrong
I let him make me feel as if I’m not important
I let myself get lost in my own sadness
I tell him I love him even when he says he hates me
All of this to make him happy
Because I love him
Because he doesn’t love you
I said
He yells at you for expressing your feelings
He tells you that you’re wrong because you don’t support his bad decisions
He pushes you away and says he doesn’t need you
He decides that his happiness is worth more than yours
All because he knows you won’t leave
Because you love him, but he doesn’t love you
Because we love each other
He and I say
We support one another
We say I love you
We know when to admit we were wrong
We know that without each other we would be lesser versions of ourselves
Because we love each other
Love is
Support
Friendship and
Happiness
Love is not
Hatred
Lies and
Disappointment
