The downs are worth it because they build up the relationship.

You come home upset, ready to rant.

It’s the same, “he said, she said.”

I don’t understand, I don't get it,

But I listen.

Times have been rough.

Days have been stressful.

Let’s put on that movie I hate, but you love it.

There is no need to invade.

There is no need to investigate.

Because I trust you.

You are away and I’m home.

It’s been hours since we’ve last spoken

I send, “I love you.”

Because I miss you.

A healthy relationship allows sadness

But that’s not the majority.

What relationship is 100% filled with happy moments?

A healthy relationship is when each person in the relationship can say “yes” when asked,

“Are you happy in this relationship?”

And that, even when the road is bumpy

It IS worth it,
