Love of Another
This is a tough question
But here is my expression
If I gave careful contemplation
The one thing I can’t live without…
Would be the love of other beings
To settle under their arms like a mother hen gathers her chicks
Or to communicate face to face when one of us is sick
The ocean tides sweep back and forth without pause to consider living forms beneath its surface
Love stays earnest, gives peace, joy, kindness, never-failing all I could wish for in cursive
In my savior and Lord Jesus Christ who gave salvation freely
I have found his love in me to last completely
The one thing I can’t live without…
The love of another being
I could share in my mother, my brother, and my God giving me healthy nutrition
And fulfill love’s definition
