A Love To Be Continued

[him to her...]

Love. It's the color of her eyes when she looks into your soul.
It's the sound of her happiness, comfort, and serenity.
It's the music in your chest when she's sitting across the room
and you cannot think of anything but her touch.
It's the sky when the sun barely reaches the moon
and she's right there next to you.
It's the moment of arrival after the separation of eternity.
It's when the rain hits her cheek and you're there to be her smile.
It's the story between two, both the light and the dark,
together, as though they were one."

[her to him...]

She looked into his eyes,
feeling his last embrace,
knowing - this is how time stops.
A million pieces flash through her mind
as she's stuck in this one moment.
She thinks of love and wonder,
kindness and despair;
she thinks of beauty
and those who used to care.
The ending second is now upon her
in this endless stay,
as they take their final breath together,
she gently met her fate.
