Love be Naught

Love be not proud,

not boastful, nor ill.

It does not obstruct

One’s divine free will.

As sure as stars

On dark moonlit nights,

So also stands love

With soft guiding light

Here one must weigh,

A balance between,

Emotion bled raw

And forces unseen

Though self abstain,

You ought understand,

Love be not selfish

Yet bears its own brand

Love is not vain, yes never self serving.

Never ending, true love is unbinding.
